Experienced and certified staff teach live fire training with the following content:  

  theory

  types of fires

  when and how to extinguish fires

  required maintenance (NFPA 10)

  hands on live fire extinguisher training and certificate of completetion.  

WCB states that if an employeer expects their employee to use a fire extinguisher they must be trained in the proper use and application.
